Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina during a time of war, my journey began at the age of three when my family and I emigrated to Australia in search of safety and a better life. I grew up watching my parents rebuild from nothing—rising through sheer grit, hard work, and eventually succeeding through business and investments. Their resilience instilled in me a deep appreciation for opportunity and a relentless drive to carve my own path.

That drive led me to set high standards for myself and excel academically, completing a Bachelor of Medical Science followed by a Bachelor of Dentistry with Honours from the University of Sydney. My path was far from easy—marked by the pressures of academia and the challenges of a highly competitive environment. Yet, these experiences only strengthened my resolve to create something of my own.

Just two years after graduating, I co-founded Corner 32 Dental, a start-up practice in metro Sydney. The journey came with its fair share of challenges, and when the partnership dissolved unexpectedly, I was faced with a defining choice—step back or step up. I chose the latter, took full ownership, and through sheer determination, transformed Corner 32 Dental into a thriving, purpose-driven practice.

But dentistry is just one part of my story.

Over the years, I’ve built a personal brand around leadership, emotional intelligence, and both personal and professional growth. I’ve undertaken postgraduate studies in Digital Orthodontics, explored multiple ventures alongside my incredibly supportive husband, and am soon due to publish my debut book, The Emotionally Intelligent Clinician. I’m also actively growing my investment portfolio in the health and wellness sectors.

Most importantly, I’m a mum to two beautiful girls—and I’m deeply committed to being a role model for them. I want them to understand that the sky is the limit in this life, and that with courage, hard work, and passion, they can achieve anything they set their minds to.

My journey is one of resilience, courage, evolution, and purpose. I’m on a mission to inspire others—especially healthcare professionals—to realise that growth, success, and fulfilment are all possible when you lead with heart, take bold action, embrace challenges and stay true to your vision.
